I am really not very familiar with this band but I'll tell you what, I like this album quite a bit and they also released a couple of other highly regarded albums previously under the moniker of Baphomet and that shit is very good too. They changed their name to Banished for a short time due to some conflicts with a German band also known as Baphomet. However, I see that they reclaimed their original name and are still considered to be active with a release as recently as 2012.
