I first came across this band last year with their Divine Damnation release, which I really liked, and now they are already back with another full-length release; as CarlG said, this album is even better. I see they just released a new single as well. These guys are becoming quite prolific after releasing a few demos, 3 LPs, and 1 EP in their 1st 21 years of existence now they have an EP, 2 LPs, and a single in the past 3 years.

I wasn't familiar with these guys when I heard their 2022 album Divine Damnation at the beginning of this year and it is a very good release for my tastes. I went out and searched for their older material and found their debut LP from '92. This obviously sounds a bit dated but it is still good material nonetheless.

A version of this band has been around since 1990 and this incarnation still has 2 of the original members (guitar & drums). This is my first exposure to Monastery and it has been quite pleasing.
