A couple of years after Unstoppable Force was released in 1987, John Cyriis and the other members of Agent Steel decided to part ways and the band was in a state of cryogenic sleep for almost 12 years. Then, in 1998, two of the original members, guitarist Juan Garcia and drummer Chuck Profus brought in a new vocalist, guitarist & bass player to reanimate the band and Omega Conspiracy was their first real contact with humankind in this new era. By the time this album was released, I had moved on to death metal and didn't even consider listening to this disc, but now 20 years later, I have to say that I love this album. Obviously, this is not death metal and if that is all you are into then you will not like this at all, but if you are simply a fan of the genre of metal, then I think you may appreciate what they have created here. In my opinion, tracks 1 - 7 are stellar and prove that Agent Steel are truly Masters of Metal \m/\m/

Agent Steel is a very interesting band in my evolution, I bought Skeptics Apocalypse on vinyl back in 1985 and I loved this album and used to play the Hell out of it and turned all of my friends onto it as well. But, I never found any of their other '80s releases in my local record stores back in those days and then I moved on to death metal, so Agent Steel basically disappeared from my radar for the last 30 years. Then recently I came across this reissue version online and decided to buy it for sentimental reasons and I downloaded their other 80's stuff, which then prompted me to go buy their 1999 & 2003 releases as well, and now I have fully regained my appreciation for this band in both of their incarnations. This 1st album represents some killer mid '80s metal \m/\m/
