One of the problems with being a hoarder is that you end up with so much stuff you never use or maybe even don't know that you have. That was the case for me with this album, as it was in my February 2018 folder, and I am pretty certain that I never even listened to it. That is a shame because it is a very good album, and I am trying to make up for it now.

Extremity was a short-lived band from the San Francisco Bay area with members who were highly experienced from other bands, and together they created some entertaining death metal on their two releases before splitting up. I wish they could have kept it going.

I wanted to bring this post back to the front of The Chamber. I really liked this album and purchased a cool t-shirt from the band when this came out. Also, be sure to check out their 2020 EP, only 4 tracks but they jam. I'm leaving my comment below just the way it was in September 2018 when I first posted this.  

Damn, this disc is pretty F-ing cool I'm liking it a lot so far! Subtype Zero offers up an interesting flavor of thrash metal, no death here, but the riffing is infectious and the leads are sick as Hell. Very entertaining for my tastes. Try it and see what you think (\m/\m/)

I always kind of liked Order To Ruin or at least what I have heard of their output. They released 2 EPs and 8 LPs in a 7 year period from 2012 to 2018. This was the first of two 2018 releases and then they split up. To me they always sounded a bit more Swedish than German and if you're open to melo-death then they are/were pretty good.
