These guys had a very good debut album back in 2022, and now here they are in 2026 with the follow-up, and I'm impressed. I haven't thoroughly listened to a lot of the new releases yet, but this is one of my current favorites for the year so far. They aren't doing anything particularly unique, but I do like what they've created here, all the way down to the cover of Dismember's Casket Garden at the end.

Do you know something that you don't hear enough of in death metal? Monks chanting in a monastery, well Rotten Soil solves that problem and then goes on to create a highly effective set of death metal tracks for our listening pleasure.
