Fortunate Fall are a SoCal band who plays a speedy brand of melodic death metal and I know this won't be for everyone but I dig a few of the tracks for sure.

I like this disc even though the production suffers from a bit of distortion. This Gothenburg band has that "it" factor, at least for my melodic side and expectations that is.

I posted this disc when I first heard it back in 2013 but I don't think it got a lot of hits here at TDC and that's too bad because this is really a very good metal offering. I know that it might be too melodic and different for some tastes, but if you have an open mind to the progressive side of death metal then be sure to give Of Chaos and Turmoil a listen or two and I think you'll enjoy it. I can't wait to hear more from these guys, they are due for something new.

This is an early release from Third Sovereign, a band out of New Delhi, India, and while this offering is a bit uneven, I still like it. I think you may know that this band would go on to release Perversion Swallowing Sanity in 2016, and that was/is a very good release, IMO.
