For some reason this disc hasn't hit as hard as their previous release. but then again maybe my expectations for it were a bit too high, and maybe that was unfair because this is really a good release. The problem is that there has been so much other killer shit so far this year, and I didn't come back to this as often as I would've expected.

Necrosic - Putrid Decimation (EP) [2016]

Wow, he was right! Bongripper has been promoting this EP for the past couple of days and damn he found a good one. Relatively new band from Autopsy main man Eric Cutler, and there's some nasty good sounding guitar on these 4 tracks. I'd like to buy this, but so far it's only on vinyl, and even though I have a turntable, it's not practical for me, I want the CD.

I listened to this a few times 4 years ago, and then let it fade away, but after seeing Lord Frostdomain's post earlier tonight, it made me go back and listen to it again. This was good stuff, so now I really want to listen to the new disc, because the Greeks have been rock'in it with a bunch of good releases over the past few years.

Mass Defect - Covert Eradicators [2011]

Damn, I like this disc! It's just a 4 track sampler of their 2011 release, which the band is basically giving away for free on their Bandcamp page. CarlG was totally cool as usual, he shared the entire 10 track disc with me; and thanks as always my friend. I have to say that this is very good! I included their 2015 Ep in my "Best of" list for last year, so you know this is certainly a band to keep an eye and ear on in my opinion \m/\m/
