As it would turn out, this would be the band's last toke. Based on their Metal Archives page, it says they disbanded on 10/17/25. That is a damn shame because they always provided a great buzz. Every strain they produced was primo, and this album is no different, so at least they went out on a high note.

I don't know why, but when I saw this band's name, I was thinking that it was an older European band with previous releases, but that isn't the case here. This is a 1-man project from Missouri with programmed drums (bleech!), but it actually sounds pretty damn good to me. The video link above was posted by the artist, so leave him a comment.

Supposedly, this band has been active since 1988, but I am not sure how many original members remain, and they didn't have an album until 2022, and that was just a compilation of 4 studio tracks and some live material from 2015/16. This is their first true album in 37 years of existence, and I don't know what to say about it other than I really like it. There are some nice guitar riffs and leads, and it just rocks!

I am not really sure that there are any "original" members of this band remaining in the current lineup, but half of the band has been there for all of the albums. I have always liked their music, but not really a band I have listened to a lot over the years. Their 2017 album, posted below, is good but the rip is so low volume that I have to crank it up to 30 just to be able to hear it. However, this album caught my attention recently and deserves some praise and attention.

I have long been a fan of this band and can't believe that I didn't already have more of their catalog posted here. They have been consistently creative on all of the releases that I am familiar with, going back 25 years to Evil Planet. This new album is no different, as they're still creating effective brutality.

I seem to remember some comments in the chatbox a few months back stating negative reactions to this disc, so I kinda ignored this album for a minute. However, after finally getting around to it here recently, I beg to differ. I am really liking the technical approach the band has taken on this album. Highly worthy!

There have been several long-established bands that have dropped new albums this year after being silent for a long period of time. Enter Self is a prime example of that with this being their first album in 25 years, well I guess it was 24 since this was released last year. I didn't find out aobut it until a couple of weeks ago, so it is new to me and very good I might add. Give this a couple of listens, I think you may like it.

Wow, finally, after a 14-year absence, Feast Of Corpses has awakened from their slumber and come back strong with this album. It appears that the lineup from their last album is still mostly in tact and they don't seem like they have missed a beat. There are some killer riffs and structures on this disc, and I like it a lot!
