Here is another cool-sounding young band cranking out some heavy death metal on this EP. BHD are from Birmingham, Alabama, and have a killer technical tone to their brutality. This is yet another quality release from the guys at Everlasting Spew Records. They have been very active in the past few years and promoting some very good bands.

I want to give props to our good friend and resident death metal arbiter, CarlG for promoting this disc back in May and professing about how good it is and he was right. I did always like their 2013 offering but this is by far and away a more mature collection of tracks and I for one like them a lot.

So, here is a disc that I came across back in July but didn't listen to it until just recently and now I can't get enough of it. Deathly black metal of the highest order. Supposedly Devolution are a 4-piece band from Toulouse, France but based on their Bandcamp page this release is a 1-man project from Clément Roig (Antropofago). Either way, this is highly recommended in my opinion \m/\m/

It is too damn bad that these guys couldn't keep it together and create more metal but be sure to check this disc out \m/\m/

I'm bringing this disc from these female fronted thrashers back to the front of the house for another listen and you should really give this a chance if you didn't in the past. I think this band from the Rhineland cranks out some killer jams \m/\m/

This Russian band is tagged as melodic death metal but I don't feel that their style is overly melodic and many of these tracks sound pretty good to me.

Here is a band that I wasn't really aware of until I stumbled across this disc a couple of months ago. It's interesting that Curse Of Denial is labeled as death/black metal but I am not hearing a lot of black metal in these tracks but I do hear a lot of good riffs and interesting structures, which keep me entertained all of the way through this disc and they have a new EP that sounds very good as well.
