So, here's a disc that I used to dig on quite a bit but it will definitely be an acquired taste for many of you. These guys certainly flew the metalcore flag, so that will be a turn off to most but their music here had a blackened doomy feel that kept it interesting and I liked the dude's schizophrenic vocal style.

There is something about this band & these tracks that I like. The vocals for 1 have that maniacal vent which is pretty cool. Give these guys a listen & your support, Molder are from the west side of Joliet, Illinois, not that far from my old stomping grounds.

This disc has been around for a while and was actually one of my early posts here in The Death Chamber, so I'm bringing them back to the front of the house for another listen. Supposedly Burning At The Stake is still active but in nine years there has been nothing new and that is too bad because this is some quality death metal from Ventura California!

10. Black Firmament
11. Horned

Witness: -[*]-
I want to say that this disc is extremely fucking good and until recently I didn't even know who the hell Horned was and maybe that's because they have been labeled as hardcore/death metal and while I'm not hearing a lot of hardcore there is definitely some chugging breakdowns going on in these tracks.

Witness: -[*]-
I wasn't familiar with this band until just recently but I do like this flavor of thrashy blackened speed metal and I discovered that they have a new disc, which is already out but I haven't heard it yet, with the exception of this video below.
