Witness: -[*]-
Dominus was one of those bands who altered their style with every release, and I personally think this is their best offering. View to the Dim is more death metal, but also suffers from a very poor production. This disc has its faults, but really it is an underrated death groove gem from a time in the mid 90's when a lot of European death metal bands were experimenting with different elements in their styles. You may know that front man Michael Poulsen went on to form the rock-a-billy band Volbeat, which was also the title of the 3rd album from Dominus.

I know CarlG promotes these guys every so often, and they are very good. I like their 2012 release better than this one, but this isn't bad at all. These guys should be putting out something new soon, or at least I hope so.

The cover looks cheesy now, but this was in my top 20 from '87, and back in those days it was really just 20 discs. We didn't have the vast treasures of metal that everyone has nowadays thanks to Al Gore and the internet. Listen and Deny the Cross!
