1) Corpus Mortale (Dnk) - Fleshcraft ….this made #7 on my list last year, but it’s a 2013 release and the best!!!!
2) Deamon (Can) - Condemned to Darkness .awesome cd from a band I didn’t really care for previously.
3) Dead Awaken (Swe) - Where Hope Turns Dripping Red ..great new Swedish band, what a premiere cd.
4) Fleshdoll (Fra) - Feeding The Pigs ….awesome band, another in line of great stuff from this underrated band.
5) Weapons To Hunt (Hol) - Blessed In Sin …another name for Sinister? All Sinister member band like a few others.
6) Deathstorm (Pol) - Nechesh …some Polish bands let me down this year, but what a 1st cd for Deathstorm.
7) Facebreaker (Swe) - Dedicated To The Flesh ….consistent Swedes with awesome death / thrash.
8) Deformatory (Can) - In The Wake Of Pestilence …where did these guys come from?
9) Atomwinter (Ger) - Atomic Death Metal …same as above, awesome 1st release from these Germans.
10) Down Among The Dead Men (Int) – ST….Rogga Johansson + Dave Ingram = impossible to fail.
11) Ecocide (Hol) - Eye Of Wicked Sight…really great 1st release, give this great death metal a try.
12) Armagedon (Pol) – Thanatology….another good release from these guys, no surprise after their 2009 cd.
13) Death Courier (Grc) - Perimortem ….2 releases, 1992 & 2013…what happened in between?
14) Smothered (Swe) - The Inevitable End….this one will be climbing higher with more time.
15) Syndrom (Swe) – Iconoclasm…..quietly a very good band with now 2 very good cds.
16) Scordatura (UK) - Torment Of The Weak …probably should be ranked higher.
17) Deicide (US) - In The Minds Of Evil …what can you say, Glen Benton keeps the standard high.
18) Purgatory (Ger) - Deathkult Grand Ancient Arts ….surprise, long time band, maybe their best?
19) Overtorture (Swe) - At The End The Dead Await….more great Swedish death metal.

Blood Red Throne (Nor) - S/T...complete disappointment at their change of direction, most disappointing release of the year, easily.
Pyorrhoea (Pol) - I Am The War...my second biggest disappointment, use to really like this band.
Banisher (Pol) – Scarcity…very disappointed at the progressiveness in this release, not near as good as previous releases.
Trauma (Pol) - Karma Obscura…total disappointment.
DarkRise (Che) – Realeyes… not a serious disappointment, not bad but just didn't scream to be played, so that disappointed me.
Demogorgon (Pol) - Where Is He ...really liked their first release, this one just didn't appeal to me, but I don't know why.
