Death Portrait is Matt Deptula who shreds on guitars & bass (I know I've never heard of him either) and several guest musicians, especially on drums, featuring the talents of Kévin Paradis (Benighted, Death Lab, & Svart Crown) and Kevin Talley who has been in too many bands to name here. This is really a very cool death metal album in my opinion and one that is worthy of many listens.
