Back in the early 2000s, when metalcore was at its peak, this band released 2 EPs (posted below) that I thought were very good at the time, but as the scene became so highly oversaturated, my tastes changed. And, even though I have been aware of Sylosis and their many releases in the years that have passed since 2010 or so, I didn't pay much attention to them. Then, a couple of months ago, my old friend nuttinface urged me to give this album a chance, so I finally did, and I'll be damned, it is really very good. Thanks for pushing me, my brother!
