When I first heard of Rivers Of Nihil back in like 2010, I thought that this band was sofa king good, and that impression lasted through 2015 with their Monarchy album, but after that, I kinda lost them. So, my oldest friend is a guy I call nuttinface, and he doesn't come around here much, but that may be my fault. Anyway, we're still really cool, and a few weeks ago he tried to push these guys back on me again. He said, "Man, you used to like them, what's up now?" I said, "Yeah, I know, but they changed." Then he said, "Yes, they did, for the better." Well, he was correct, this album is so freaking good if you're open to the progressive side of death metal \m/\m/
