Here is a band and album that should appeal to fans of thrash and metal in general. These guys are labeled as progressive metal but I hear elements of thrash, modern melodic death, and possibly some metalcore in their style but no matter how you label it they have crafted some entertaining songs on this album. Draghoria is from Colorado and is completely new to me and damn I like their brand of thrash. Metal-Archives has them tagged as death thrash but this is really just straight-up thrash that would have fit right in in the late'80s and still sounds remarkably fresh today. They have a 2022 album called Dangerous Species that is available at the Bandcamp link up there and it is even better than this one. Another point of interest to me is that this is a father & son duo on lead guitar and drums and that chemistry fukking jams!
